A new line of accessories has been designed for Louis Vuitton by Director Sofia Coppola. Clutches, light weight handbags and classic shoes has been added to this new collection which was displayed partly to the public with a party in Tokyo. Louise Vuitton lovers will have to wait until spring 2009 to be able to purchase desired stuff from this new collection.
The main attraction of the collection was Sofia’s SC bag named after her, and comes in dark grey suede, two in calf leather in dark blue and burgundy. According to Sofia she worked hard for more then one year before this launch and accessories has been designed keeping in mind the comfort and the classic touch. Trend is being the side aspect of the collection. She needed a perfect day bag in which she can keep all her stuff without being too heavy and bulky.
Coppola also designed shoes with heels which you can wear comfortably all night long and still looks chic..Which took influence from 70s. For evening, Coppola designed four compact clutches with buckles resembling the locks on LV’s classic trunk.
Comapnay is hoping for the positive response from the Louis Vuitton lovers and vice-versa Louis Vuitton followers are waiting for the collection to be available for sale.
I love Marc Jacob for LV. All said and done I have been waiting for a great clutch by LV forever!!! I couldn’t understand why it never happen a clutch large enough for a wallet and lipstick, yet small enough to be light and look classy…. I do like the fact that a women (yes the clients that wear purses) being Sofia designed something that we can all enjoy wearing.. I fined that some LV bags I wonder sometimes did a woman ever try it before it was made???? I mean carry it for a week or more every where she went (ah like the grocery store with her two year old) and wearing a coat no less…. so I give applause to Sofia for creating something that women can use not for only for fashion buy for its true purpose to carry a wallet. PS I find many LV bags are extremely bulky, by the time you have a coat on you look like chicken little walking down the street with your elbow up in the air…. something to think of …
